I think the reason Midnight Memories is their lowest rating on Metacritic is because it was a transition album. You had Best Song Ever, Diana, Little White Lies which were pretty much their classic formula, then you had stuff like Little Black Dress, Midnight Memories, You & I which were a complete departure. The only song that really struck the balance properly (and was actually good) was Story of My Life. DFWYB also did but it was terrible.
It's such a great album but so confusing to critics, I think that's when they started struggling to know what standard to hold them to. It's a shame that it got scored so low but it's a masterpiece.

You are one of the nicest and most innocent members of any fanbase, you truly love the boys and especially Harry and that's rare to see. You really love him for his musical talent and personality rather than stats and such.
