Well I guess in this action/sci-fi blockbuster her acting will be purposefully restricted, since leads of this genre are pretty much always bland. But Rey and Finn had some personality so hopefully she will too.

But I don't really see why they needed a new protagonist. The previous two would've been fine to carry the sequel, just in a new setting where they could develop more.
