As for Sergey, I'm glad they gave him a song that he can sing in his limited vocal possibilities. And a good song, yes, but let's be real it would be a travesty in many ways if he won.
Not without the points from the West, which Russia seems to get only with peace songs (Dina, Polina). He'll probably pull a Serebro in 2007, snatching 12 points from all those Eastern countries and 1-2-3 from the West and ending up 3rd.
Did Il Volo bother to promote their music at all? They still won the televote. Barei can promote it all she wants, she'll still have a trash song no one will vote for.
I need someone to bring a song like the legendary "My Neck, My Back" by Khia to the Eurovision next year. I can see either Poland or Romania doing that.
While listening to Ukraine's screaming mess, I keep cackling thinking about all those members that criticised some entries back in the day because they were a 'screaming mess' but are now stanning for this song.
Interesting how the country the artist represents can make some people like the song more or less.
