Love Me Like You Do
is actually a good song, so this was a good way to end this countdown. Now you can start listening to Lena songs... She wrote 2 songs to Lena tho. One of them is a huge favorite of mine.
Yes, post my comment. :"(

You mean Ellie wrote them or Tove

Apparently since this isn't the number one
I love the quotes for your number one! I'm quoted also. it's an honor
Although,
Yikes holy, I expected more from you Drake is better.

Right, it happened to me twice.
Bloomy likes CFTS slay!
Perfectly crafted pop songs don't always win
nnn, it was hard trying to search for the comments okay! Besides, I think this one is better.

This set...well, it's not quite AS beautiful as the last set, but I'm still a fan! Max Martin knew how to pick them. "Cool for the Summer" is just an absolute banger, and that is all Max Martin. LMLYD...well, it's not THAT bad. I just find it to be more on the annoying side than "On My Mind". It's still better than most of the hit songs from this year.
|
What do you have in mind
Oh I didn't realise 3/5 of the top 5 is Max Martin. Just shows how mainstream I am.

Sorry, I’m late, but I saw you were almost done so I waited until you’re done. Well, glad you were able to a Best of given what you do now. Here I go and you got the recap on the first page with the links. I decide to click on the links because I always like to see what you have to say for these songs. I guess to make up for me showing late and then, waiting to see your Best of end so I can see the recap. Um your link numbers are messed up. 151?
150-141: Ehh, I guess I feel the same sediments for Baby Don’t Lie, I really like American Oxygen and agree about the message and sound. Well, I still enjoy I Bet My Lie for all its worth. You’re on point with Locked Away. Iggy is always Trouble. Still, a good song I enjoy from her and J-Hud. There are biscuits to wreck for a fairly local reason.
140-131: I used to do something like the Love-O-meter before. But, I got no time for that anymore. It was interesting tho to see something like how many artists are good to like to be mentioned. Only One is not bad, just too much autotune. Ain’t Nobody is cute, Doing It Wrong! Coffee is great and just love the feeling I get from that kind of song with that kind of vibe. Merrrrrrrcccy! Truffle Butter is my jam earlier in the year. Agreed on what you said about Bloodstream. 2 On for the urban clubs, Player for the pop/dance clubs. I don’t think I have decided which I like more. I’m not into Nick Jonas’ new music, but my family are.
130-121: I sometimes feel the fire under my feet when I stompa my feet to Leona. The horse jokes like beating down a dead horse. Taylor her impact I guess. Fire and the Flood was nice just a bit forgettable. DFH is cute yes. I like how Timebomb sounds. I try not to feel that way when I hear Here. The song is still enjoyable for the most part. You old? I’m 21 and still on ATRL! Meh on Heartbeat Song and Shine is good.
120-111: I never got around to listen to First despite being a big Alt hit and a hit in the Best of and YTT. Forgot what Like I can sounds like since it’s been long since I heard the album. Oh, the kinda clever Bass references in Lips Are Movin’ didn’t tip you off to think that? Anyway, yeah I like it and it’s cute for a while. Crystals, Omen, and Girl Crush are all great. I get what Bey was going for 7/11 and the video, but I still hate it and it’s infectious to hurt my ears. The less about Pretty Girls, the better.
110-101: Passion Pit their music lifted me up like it’s 1985! Except I was born in 1994, but you know what I mean. Nothing Without Love is not bad, but it doesn’t stand out that much. Yeah, Beg for it was a Fancy 2.0 and I never liked fancy in the 1st place. Regardless of what people think of Renegades, It’s still great and I like to listen to it a lot. The Night is still Young is the only pop song that I kinda tolerate, but yeah good message and all that. I heard that Elle King song on the radio the other day and I didn’t like it.
100-91: Dreams is a great, addicting bop. Actually all songs from 100-94 are good esp. Lampshades on Fire for being one of my favorite songs to listen to a lot this year.
90-81: Your numbers on this update is off here. 100-91? Anyway, I never liked You Know You Like it for some reason. Agreed with you that Invincible is one of the better songs I heard from Kelly recently. I’m the 1% that heard of Wicked Games and Twenty Eight before You Deserve it. You Earned It. The Weeknd does deserve and earned his success. What a mess and a half for Gwen her drama. Still like the song and like it better than the other two that came before it. Years & Years are the Kings of alt.pop/dance this year. Hold My Hand is another one that I love to listen to a lot and is one of my fav 2015 songs this year. Oh, yeah. Molecules. Heard it a long time ago. I like it. I don’t Focus on Ariana or Want to know about Zedd and Selena.
80-71: I forgot about Never Gonna Love Again. I like the song. I don’t like Outside at all. I liked Omen better than Magnets, but it’s great tho. Lay it all on me is way better than Bloodstream remix. It feels right this time. How Deep is Your Love is Calvin at its finest. Good advice on not have the volume high when listening to Alive with earphones. Shots is easily the best single from the album. I really like it and one of my top favorites this year.
70-61: Hey Mama is alright, but I get the annoyance with it tho. I forgot about the Hoodie/Ed song. Well, I like J-Lo and Iggy’s …booties. Holding Back the River is a nice typical song to listen to time to time. Rih and Ye, where dem albums at? All Day does go hard 45s is a nice change of pace for Rih. Too bad for her fans/stans that live for her dance pop bops tho! Paul is THE MAN. I also like Hotline Bling.
60-51: Thinking Out Loud is beautiful and I didn’t care it got overplayed to death. Jessie is flawless and her voice is quite wonderful. I wonder if her kisses taste like Champagne. I want to find out. The Hanging Tree is just alright. Same goes for the movie. J-Law is cute and sweet tho. Need to hear that Grimes song. Been a good amount of Best ofs. Never knew Moments was released as a single. it’s one of my favs from the album. Smoke Break is good, but not great like Something in the Water. Still a good Carrie song to love. Need to hear the Sara song. Work Song is great. Just got me captivated with amazing vocals and wonderful music. One of my top fav songs.
50-41: Nope. M5 keeps on getting worst and Sugar is one of the worse ones. For ATRL tho. But for me? No and I’m not Jealous of Sexy Nick either. Beautiful Now is just great. Zedd’s better songs. Wish I listen to nonsense a lot and r.i.p. 2 my youth earlier because they’re so good, but only made my ON Deck. Pay No Mind to me dancing to Shut Up and Dance. See You Again is great and sweet. Nice tribute to Paul Walker.
40-31: Fifth Harmony aren’t worth it. They’re not worth damaging my ears and suffering from my mother singing this Talk Dirty rip-off (that’s the people say about the song). Bitch Better Have my Money is a good jam to get it on time to time. Agree what you said about Bad Blood and the superior Remix with King Kendrick. Loud Places just feels great and nice write-up on it. It’s one of my top faves for sure while Talking Body is my least fav. Can’t get me to like Justin Bieber even though his music is a bit better this time. My family likes his new music tho. Pray to God is another song that I really like to listen to. Still Want Brandon’s Flower?
30-21: I feel nothing about that FOB song, I love dark and psychopath Abel and MJ wannabe Abel. What Kind of Man loves like this? Well, Cause I’m a Man, woman. But, hey Florence’s vocals is triumphant with her range and Tame Impala does have that Trance effect with their music. I loved them for it. Like the Lana song, Want to Want Me and Firestone. Yeah, I hated Wiggle and didn’t care about Trumpets from Jason. Style who?
20-11: I remember that Dead Inside was always #2! Just like Take Me to Church though TMTC was your #1 last year. I’m still happy about that. Still, good for Dead Inside on top of Believe for once. No, Lean On is annoying as hell and doesn’t work this time. Sorry, but no JB for me. I Can Change is great and I knew you want Brandon’s Flower. There’s a reason why Widest Dream is the most download song from her album: Because I actually like it unlike her last four singles esp. Shake IT off and Bad Blood. I almost thought Selena’s music was good for me, but nope.
10-1: Altogether. You certainly don’t deny your love for Brandon, Hello is just a good song that I like it like it’s a great song. Welcome back Adele! Leave a Trace is not bad. Sexy pseudo-Lesbian Demi is nice to see, but Cool for the Summer is not nice for my ears anymore. Twenty One Pilots tear into my ears the good way with this song. Agree what you said about Photograph. Dem haters like ASF can seethe. Blank Space…..well I guess it’s nice put together for a pop song, but it rubs on me the wrong way, but still better than Shake It off and Bad Blood. For your #1………a disappointing song that I just don’t like.
That took a lot of time to type, but I did took a break to eat some El Pollo Loco. Next Best of I see that is done or almost done, I need to do a condense version of my post like just naming my favs and some puns. Overall great Best of and I love your taste in music. I forgot to say your banners is nicely done. I don’t think I will be here for your album list since I only heard like 3 and I know at least two of them won’t be there at all. Hope you still comment on my Best of when I post new sets. Anyway, Happy New Year! Only 38 minutes for me left! Got to work on my next set of songs in my Best of.

Wow thanks for taking the time to look through my entire best of

Finally it's time for my top 40 albums of 2015! I'm pretty glad to have listened to 53 albums this year, 10 more than 2014. But I didn't have the time to really into them all. So, for these 10 albums at the bottom of my rankings, I can't really say much about them cuz I haven't fully delved into them yet. So, don't be upset that there's barely any commentary or my favourite/least fave songs listed. However, it would be nice if y'all could perhaps enlighten me more about them instead.

Purpose
Justin Bieber
#25 most listened album released in 2015
It's nice to see Justin mature, but some tracks just feel too half-hearted. Tracks like Life Is Worth Living, Children and Purpose try to depict him as an inspirational figure who can teach you about the world, but how much of that can we believe?
| 3 9
Natalie Prass
Natalie Prass
#45 most listened album released in 2015
This soft, sentimental album can be pleasing to listen to, but many times I feel like I'm listening to a Disney soundtrack???
| 3 8
Wilder Mind
Mumford & Sons
#22 most listened album released in 2015
I have never heard their previous album (including their Grammy AOTY winning one), but this one definitely doesn't show me any reason why they did. The songs are not bad to listen to, but they still fall in the generic zone and could be done by anyone.
| 3 7
Tell Me I'm Pretty
Cage the Elephant
NA most listened album released in 2015
It felt like Dan Auerbach didn't flex his guitars enough here. Unlike how he unleashed a new landscape for Lana's sadcore material to relish in, Cage the Elephant just sounds a bit too much like The Black Keys here, that or the songs have don't have too much unique qualities about them.
| 3 6
Rebel Heart
Madonna
#28 most listened album released in 2015
I guess Madonna is finally over trying to compete with her younger counterparts with a more cohesive album that doesn't not feel immature (with the exception of Bitch I'm Madonna). She tries to be more heartfelt this time, and she kinds of shines there. But, overall, it feels too safe and plain coming from her.
| 3 5
Froot
Marina and the Diamonds
#50 most listened album released in 2015
Electra Heart suffered from being all over the place, but Froot is definitely a lot more cohesive than that. It's a cute album, but it still doesn't captivate my attention enough.
| 3 4
To Pimp a Butterfly
Kendrick Lamar
#43 most listened album released in 2015
As the most acclaimed album of 2015, I should be getting into this more. Then again, hip-hop isn't quite my thing. But I can definitely see it's good points, like the incorporation of jazz and other genres. It's really easy on the ears for a hip-hop album. Also, I guess there's some huge important social commentary going on too? I never dissected the lyrics, so I wouldn't know.
| 3 3
Goon
Tobias Jesso Jr.
#47 most listened album released in 2015
Ah, the writer of When We Were Young. The acoustic-based sound is very pleasing to listen to, and he describes about his struggles in the industry which is nice. But sometimes it gets too mundane.
| 3 2
Ego Death
The Internet
#48 most listened album released in 2015
I was expecting some typical R&B stuff but this could appeal to someone who's not into that genre, aka me. It's sonic landscape is pretty interesting, though it can get pretty cluttered and hard to sift through.
| 3 1
Wildheart
Miguel
#26 most listened album released in 2015
Another R&B album which I expected not to get into. But I can totally see why people are in love with this one. It's very smooth and easy listening and there's some rock stuff going on here. Miguel sounds sexy as ever too. |

Wow Cool For the Summer is so high
but the BIGGEST SHOCK...I thought it would be Blank Space at #1
Love Me Like You Do is great (although BS >>>)
Purpose was great..
and Rebel Heart was a great direction for her...Wildheart was a bit of a let down

Not sure which part you're referring to, but neither of them was sarcastic
Purpose was a bit disappointing, it turned out the singles were the best songs and the rest is rather mediocre/filler like. And I agree, he's way too young and lacking experience to be teaching the rest of the world about how to be a good person etc.
FROOT kinda bored me, I listened a few times and most songs sound very samey. I also got tired of how dramatic the songs are quickly. I like the Electra Heart concept better, those songs were to the point and each had their own message.

CFTS It's a bop, not gonna lie.
I listened to Blurryface but I can't remember Tear In My Heart
Photograph Ed is so underrated here.
Blank Space It was my #2 last year
And LMLYD
-
5 of these albums appear in my Best Of
FROOT is such a good album But it had to grow on me.
Purpose, Wildheart, TPAB

I don't think Madonna tried to fight the young generation. We know how versatile she is so she did it for fun probably. I agree, though, that Rebel Heart is flawless and her best since Confessions.
