iTunes was not 500k. Amazon + iTunes was 500k, and Amazon alone was roughly 100k. So it's 900k-400k = 500k 24 hour sales on iTunes.

According to this, preorders broke down as follows: Amazon + iTunes + other retailers = ~500k. Amazon had roughly 100k preorders, so that leaves 400k between iTunes and other retailers.

900k - 400k = 500k copies of 25 sold within the first 24 hours WITHOUT counting preorders.

Bey did 430k according to you, and 500k is much larger than 430k.

Does that make sense?
