I honestly think it's the best album this year so far. She does have her own sound and to me, she sounds nothing like anyone else. I love her honest personality and her lyrics are infinitely better than anyone else out there at the moment. She's a poet. Really hope this album does well. Don't get the early reviews
The Pitchfork review spent nearly no time talking about the songs and most of it talking about her artistic identity, her contemporaries & what her brand is. I personally find the album eclectic vs "lost at sea". People are so determined to put her in a box that they aren't even paying attention to the music
It's so good.
A lot of The 1975 vibes, which is the highest musical compliment I can give.
"Runaway" and "Free" are a bit blah, everything else is soooo gorgeous.

Benny probably snatched it for her when Rihanna didn't want it or Ryn herself wrote it for Rihanna and decided to use it once she rejected the song. But I doubt that. Can someone shed a light on this, did she ever write for Rihanna or something?

I just checked the song's credits and two people that seems to have written the song are also credited as composers on the file's description. No signs of Charli.
The EP songs were the best ones.
