Actually, no. "Invincible" was released about 13 years ago, and Sony has changed over time. Tommy Mottola (the guy behind all the mess) isn't part of Sony Music since 2003, for example.
That's one of the reasons Michael decided to re-sign his contract with Sony in 2008 to release "Thriller 25th" and then "King Of Pop".
"Xscape" executive producer is LA Reid, MJ's personal friend + new CEO of Epic Records.
