I don't know her personally, I don't wish ill on her and I do hope she gets better but at the end of the day shes a pop star to me. Not a person. If she's going to be looking frumpy again it makes me like her a little less. Pop music is superficial, its all about surface value, this era could be that much better with her looking amazing as opposed to how she looked 2 or even 1 year ago.
I'll be slammed for this because weight is such a touchy subject for pop stans i'd imagine because most people struggle with weight issues (I don't so I guess I couldn't possibly understand). But nevertheless my appreciation for her new album and era would be elevated by her looking how she does right now is what im getting at.

Its me acknowledging the superficiality within liking pop music, something most of you delude yourselves into believing you don't apply to.
I like when she looks good. I like her more when she looks good. It doesn't mean I don't like her otherwise, im just saying it was nice that she was looking great and it would've been amazing to have an album era with her looking fantastic.

I see what you're saying, but... oh wait, no, I don't see what you're saying at all.
Basically what I get from your stance on this is that you're objectifying Ke$ha as a thing (a pop star, to be specific) rather than as a human being. As a pop star, you would rather her look good (clarification, look thin since that's apparently your take on what looking good means) and be suffering from an eating disorder in quiet than being "frumpy" and healthy.
Whether you deem Ke$ha as a person or not, she is still a person. Whether you deem your views not disgusting, they are disgusting. That's the reality. If you think that a person's occupation (sorry, Ke$ha's occupation since she's not a person) overshadows the fact that they're a human being then there really is something wrong with your thought process.
You're overanalysing pop music and acting as if pop stars some kind of separate entity to other humans. I personally don't struggle with weight issues but my personal struggles have nothing to do with my understanding of others' struggles, and eating disorders are a serious issue for anyone whether a pop star or "regular human".
Of course having her look thin would be a plus, everyone has been praising her as of late for how she's been looking. Unfortunately behind the scenes in order to get in such a way she developed an eating disorder. Whether you personally think so or not, health comes before beauty. While I'd love a thin Ke$ha too, I'd rather a "frumpy" and healthy Ke$ha than a thin Ke$ha with an eating disorder. Besides, she doesn't have to be "frumpy" to be healthy, just like she doesn't have to be stick thin to look good.
Just my two cents.
