Just a note that I barely watch TV anymore and these were like, the only five shows I regularly watched last year. Don't judge me.
 | 5. The Voice, Season 4
Air Date: March 25, 2013 – June 18, 2013
Channel: NBC
Why it slays: I've always favored The Voice over American Idol and X Factor, and that didn't change this season. Even though I preferred the original panel, the addition of Usher and Shakira brought a nice vibe to the show and really brought a ton of chemistry. The only thing bad about this season is that the talent wasn't as impressive. After a nearly flawless third season, there were less people to root for in this.. and the winner was overrated. | 4. Ke$ha: My Crazy Beautiful Life, Season 1
Air Date: April 23, 2013 – May 28, 2013
Channel: MTV
Why it slays: I've always loved Ke$ha and always will, and I was so excited when this was announced. As the title of the show says, she really does have a crazy life, and she takes us right through it with footage that made us dance, laugh, shed a tear and even feel a biT disturbed (you know what scene I'm talking about, fff.) |
 | 3. Big Brother, Season 15
Air Date: June 26, 2013 – September 18, 2013
Channel: CBS
Why it slays: Big Brother is pretty much the only reality game show I watch and I've been a massive fan ever since season 7. This season was extremely entertaining as the house guests started right off into game mode in week one when others usually sit back and relax. There were so many twists and turns until a point where things just got very predictable and great people were getting evicted. Then when things got interesting again, the Exterminators exterminated all the fun. Summary: Elissa is queen and this season provided possibly the worst final five of all time , but it was all still enjoyable because - let's be real - when is BB not enjoyable? |
 | 2. SMASH, Season 2
Air Date: February 5, 2013 – May 26, 2013
Channel: NBC
Why it slays: R.I.P. SMASH. The cast is amazing, the addition of Hit List was amazing, the covers were amazing, the finale was amazing. This show could've gone on if ya'll would've just watched it. Of course, there were flaws in this season but I didn't notice nor care about them as much as everyone else, apparently. Also, J Hud's character was so pointless even though she was supposed to be the big draw to lure in viewers. But honestly, this show had so much potential but most if it got lost in the reviews and ratings. |
 | 1. Glee, Season 4
Air Date: September 13, 2012 – May 9, 2013
Channel: FOX
Why it slays: If you didn't expect me to have Glee at #1 then you don't know me well enough. Anyways, I don't understand all the hate for this season. I know that plenty of the cast graduated and things got a biT mixed up, but the covers and episodes were still solid. I loved the addition of the new characters, even though plot lines repeated, but a good amount of them still worked. Plus, who can forget that school shooting episode? Chills. It was only near the end of the season where things got a little messy.. especially with that rushed as hell finale. Now Season 5 (so far) is where the real downfall begins... |
