Christina Aguilera performs at X Factor
The singer performed her newest single Freedom for the second time on TV. The performance featured a flash mob made of some of her biggest fans (or Fighters as she likes to call them). They all danced around while Christina sang the now well-known song. The performance helped the song to rise on iTunes and the views of its lyric video rose too. The singer said after the performance that there is nothing between Adam and her and that they just met to discuss a possible future collaboration.

Spin Reviews Céline’s Hyde Park Concert
63/100
With a rebooted era starting with a concert in Hyde Park, Céline takes the stage to perform some of her greatest hits including some of her favorite songs. With very scandalous performances, diverse vocals and edgy choreography Céline truly does know how to keep the party going for a crowd. However, the excess of antics and the unoriginality portrayed took away from the stellar effort into the overall production. Sometimes less, is just a bit more.
Act I:
Céline opens the show with a tribute to her #1 Idol, Miley Cyrus. Their friendship has not remained a secret since Céline has publicly praised Miley on many occasions, including the night of the concert. Performing “Turnt Up,” Céline drinks beer and smokes towards the end with a decent vocal and some helpful production in between. Secondly, she simplifies the stage to perform her UK hit, “The First Time (Ever I Saw Your Face”. With a beautiful rendition, the show began to pick up off onto a fantastic start with sparkling energy. Afterwards a cover of Adele’s “Rumour Has It” was performed, and Céline did not hold back. She went hard into the song with feisty attitude and a vengeance towards her critics. Although the very first performance was a bit cringe-worthy, overall the show was off to a great start.
Act II:
After playing a new mix for the little intermission, Céline returned to the stage to sing “Hello Kitty” by Avril Lavigne. The performance was horrendous. With amateur vocals, Céline attempts to seek attention and buzz by trying to have sex with Hello Kitty dolls while singing a bit drunk and too hyped. Even though this performance tried to come off as hilarious, it was a failure and a big standout of the show — for all the wrong reasons. So after that tragedy, “Blow” from Ke$ha is performed and the performance was just — meh. With an unoriginal set and plot of the performance, Céline struts around trying to be Ke$ha which was a bit bo-ring! To close off the act, Céline reignites faith in the concert by paying a tribute to former label mate, Danity Kane. With tasteful vocals, tasteful set-up and dedication, Céline pulls off a great tribute and closes the middle act with another great performance.
Act III:
After a Krewella Tribute mix, the third act of the concert is opened with a Britney Spears “Circus” cover. With whips, chains and a pole Céline maintains her boundaries while sounding very edgy covering the legendary single. With a fantastic performance, Céline begins to establish consistency with the concert and becomes more of an entertainer rather than a go-go dancer. Following is a “Fashion” by Lady Gaga cover, in which Céline reflects on her previous eras and outfits. Overall the performance was alright, but it seemed out of place and it was a bit of a snoozer. Deciding more life needs to be put into the concert, Céline performs her biggest hit ever “My Heart Will Go On” to the Londoners and cameras. She had a magical moment, murdering the crowd with angelic vocals and reminding us how she got to where is she in the first place. A winning performance indeed.
Act IV:
The final act is opened with a cover of “Milkshake” by Kelis, as Céline struts a diner set-up trying to become yet more seductive and try-hard than her previous performances (but after “Hello Kitty” it’s practically impossible). The choreography and sass was almost copied-and-pastied onto the stage with Céline continuing to produce unoriginal concepts and odd combinations. No. To close the night, Céline performed her new single “Ratchette” from her upcoming album ‘#TurntUp’. The performance was high-end hooker, with piercing vocals and euphoric production. Minus the fact that she blatantly shaded her feature Barbara Streisand by dropping the f-bomb on her, the performance was actually very entertaining and edgy — just so inappropriate (don’t watch kids)!
Overall the concert was alright. With the right order of songs and less attention-seeking antics, Céline could’ve truly had an amazing night. She had a good night tho — just not a good, amazing, fantastic or stellar one.

Bastille perform new single on Strictly Come Dancing
Bastille just performed on the hit TV show Strictly Come Dancing, the UK version of the mega-franchise Dancing With The Stars. The performance started off with the lead singer Dan Smith rising from the smoke-filled stage, with colorful dim lights surrounding the stage. As Dan started to sing, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Brendon Cole came out on the stage to dance to the track. Dan hit the notes perfectly, which sent the crowd on their feet dancing along to the track. As the chorus hit, Dan left his pedestal on the stage, walked over to Sophie and took her for a dance, all while singing. The stage filled with background dancers immediately after, and they played a breakdown exclusive to the Dillon Francis remix of the track with was set to release Sunday along with the EP. The crowd and the judges gave a standing ovation after the performance, and ratings hit a season-high, beating out X-Factor for the first time in its 9-year run.
