They have those things. That's nice. How much of their stories evolved around that though? I would have loved to get a better idea of what it's like for Patrick a gay man in the straight male dominated video games industry. I would have loved to have gotten and idea of what Augustin's relationship is like with his rich parents. That would have been real. That would have made Looking a good show and not the cheap romance it is now.

I'll give you Dom, though. Dom is the only character who had significant thing happen this season that had nothing to do with a man he was ****ing. Best character on the show.

I can't believe Patrick bottomed for his boss but I kinda saw it coming but ugh my god I can't believe both men cheated on their boyfriends
Kevin and Patrick's scene though was amazing and I hope Patrick and Richie get back together

I kind of agree but at the same time they have half an hour and an 8 episode season, there's only so much they can take as a storyline and at the same time get viewers that will allow them more freedom in the future to develop.
Patrick's issues with his family were present the entire season. And it is a big part of him and his inability to be in a stable relationship. So of course it is the center of his life.

Kevin is an asshole. Got a really bad feeling after they ****ed. It's like he just needed to ****. However it's odd that Patrick actually let him "in."

Loved Doris and I'm so happy she's a regular next season. Brings a lot of heart to the show.
