It really sucks how the polarization with Andre's verse is overshadowing this song. Beyonce's verse, and the production as well, is so perfect. I'd say I prefer it to the original as well.
I bet Andre hated having to sing that, but wanted to be a part of the music, so sucked it up and did it anyways. It wasn't as awful as people say it is, but it's pretty disappointing tbh.
It had to grow on me, but I think it's a great track, both Andre and Beyoncé's verses. It's nothing compared to the original, but it stands well on it's own.
I have no preference but it sounds good (tags make me angry tho) and it fits the movie, unlike Amy's.
Also, around 0:59-1:11 where Andre & Bey (or just Andre's harmonies) was really chilling, I wish his part was more like that. Bey's part individually is flawless as ever, if only Amy was still alive, they'd slay as a duet.
Andre ruined the song lets be honest. This song would be beautiful with just Beyoncé.
