They didn't fail to scan platinum because only three of her early singles were released as physical singles. ‘…Baby One More Time,’ ‘From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart,’ and ‘Stronger,’ all of which sold well (‘From The Bottom Of My Broken Heart’ was one of the ten bestselling physical singles of the 2000s.) 'Oops!' sold 500k digitally, which is more impressive than selling 1m physical singles in 2000.
