Like the Ass Back Home, Troublemaker, Good Girl, Everybody Talks, Little Things(to some extent), from this set & yay for Pope’s performance on The Voice winning it and that performance of Over You is such a masterpiece that was does so well. I see that Titanium, Drive By, Between The Raindrop, Cough Syrup were in your previous set & WAY winning which got me pump up to see what is next.
Jared Lee hits the top 50 with his single, It's Over (Goodbye). The song showcased a very strong and emotional chorus, which I always sing along too during the early months of this year. To be honest, I was not aware of him until I heard this song. Decent effort, totally deserving of its ranking.
Last year’s #50: ADELE- Someone Like You
49. ED SHEERAN- Drunk (17.26%)
Just slightly ahead is another heartbreak anthem from Ed Sheeran. I really find this guy talented. The lyrics of his songs plus the attached melody is perfect. This has become my favorite track from him. I sincerely can’t wait for his future albums.
Last year’s #49: KE$HA- Blow
48. LITTLE MIX- Wings (17.85%)
The ladies of Little Mix make their final appearance in the countdown with the lead single from their debut album. They were my bets during the 8th season of X Factor UK, and I was jumping for joy when they were announced winners. I’m really happy for the success they are experiencing as of the moment.
Last year’s #48: BRUNO MARS- The Lazy Song
47. PASSION PIT- Take A Walk (17.85%)
Another artist making a debut in my Best of 2012 list is the band I just discovered this year. The song grew on me a lot after I always hear it being played on the radio. And then I realized how eargasmic the chorus is! Alternative music is really growing on me. That’s why I’m now planning to check out their other releases as well.
Last year’s #47: JESSIE J f/ B.O.B- Price Tag
46. MCFLY- Love Is Easy (18.14%)
The very relaxing sound of this song converted to chart success on my daily countdown. These are the type of songs you want to listen to while doing your thesis or other academic works. This is their first and last entry in the list (which is underwhelming because both That’s The Truth and Shine a Light finished in the top 20 last 2011 and 2010) respectively
Last year’s #46: AVRIL LAVIGNE- Wish You Were Here
