I never understood the difference between song of the year and record of the year? Album of the year is, well, about the album. But isn't ROTY and SOTY the same thing?
I do hope Pink wins something...she is long overdue for some recognition! Why isn't she nominated in the female vocal? Wait...didn't they get rid of that catogory?

Song of the year goes to the composer(s) of the song whereas Record of the Year goes to the performer and production team of the song.

Song is for the songwriter

They no longer do the gender categories, so they just have pop vocal
