I'm still not over the fact that they snubbed "Stutter" or "How." This is a good song but I'd rather leave it as an album track.
Selena and her crew's first entry. Before I heard this I was actually expecting something like "Naturally" or "Falling Down", but I'm pleased with how this one sounded. The message is simple yet meaningful. She looks beautiful in the video too.
One of the best videos of the year! But even without the great video, based on the song alone, this would still make it.
Christina Perri's first entry in the top 100. She's got another one lurking somewhere in the list.
I remember the days when I would just listen to this the entire lunch break and before sleeping. It even went #1 on my countdown but I quickly got tired of it.
Linkin Park's last entry for 2011. A very weak showing compared to last 2010 top tenner "Waiting For The End."
A great collab for a great rap track but wouldnt have worked without the chorus. Skylar's part gives the whole song life.
What I like about this band is that despite mostly excelling in the uptempo hard rock department, they still are effectively able to produce soft and emotional ballads like this.
One of the most overplayed song this year. But I like J. Lo and that's more than enough to put this song on the list.
The perfect anti-bullying song. Not as terrific as her two previous singles, but still good. Expect two more from Jessie J.
