This looks like something I'd usually quite like but I think I've really grown to have a negative opinion of it over the years. It's got an annoying cry, and while I get the concept of it and it's sound basis I don't care, and was a flop of a Pokémon for causing the blockage between Rustboro and Verdanturf. It's got an ok design, but that cute artwork has ever translated to any of it's sprites ever. It just looks dumpy in-game. I hated it's evolutions as a child but nowadays I'd take either over this living plum.
PhreshDiamond comes through with that scaldingly accurate and psychic read, "looks like something Hugamari would ooze over, pink, ugly and normal. A Chansey Tea." I see no lies.

N, not sure why this cutie is out so early nor what is so offensive about her as to warrant a 0 but here we are. Her little jig in the sprite makes me cackle.
Icon of being hunted by Devon Corp employees slacking on their breaks before getting jumped by evil team grunts. Poor ha. Shroomish was a nice addition to the franchise as it was the first time we got a semi-useful mushroom Pokémon, and resultantly the first time something usable learned Spore. Shroomish's signature feature is her constant frown. In fact she's the only thing that looks even more pissed off when you look at her upside down. Go ahead and see.
PhreshDiamond thinks she is "so cute, shame she had to devolve into the ugly thing that comes next". True.
Did that guy ever get his Shroomish tho?

The way shroomish looked has always annoyed me. I also used to hate going against it all the time because of its stupid stun spore. And don't shade Breloom, cuz it kicks ass.

A surprise perhaps?
Obviously she was never going to do as well as pink Gorebyss, but Huntail crashing out of the Top 110 ain't right either. I am really fascinated by deep sea, ocean floor dwellers so this design speaks to me. It's so ugly in the face, but that's what things look like down there, and what kind of ****** only stans for pretty things? They really neutered Lanturn's potentially interesting design and turned it into a generic pretty fish, but this is much more true to life for the depths. I also love the way it's tail mimics a Gorebyss, serve confusing prey or predators. The colour scheme is wonderful too, just a very underrated pokémon. If only it's stats were better.
Phresh is living a little, "come on hunty tail, a nice idea." Right.
