Gotye's pupularity has been growing lately all over the world (not just ATRL), though he maintains at #05 this week on the Billboard Hot 100, he's been getting higher in positions in the Countdowns and in Airplay by ATRLers.

This week he faces fun. for the top spot of the tally;
last week fun. dethroned Kelly Clarkson's
"Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)", a song that spent 7 weeks atop the chart and gained the honor of being the first artist with such weeks of reigning ATRL.

fun. is the first band ever (and with all members being men) to reign the top, previously only Female Singers had been in the highest position of the tally as lead acts (the only man to be in top was Calvin Harris who's featured on "
We Found Love" by Rihanna).

In other highlights Kelly Clarkson, Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, The Wanted and Katy Perry are still on the Top Ten, while One Direction breaks into it with their first single
"What Makes You Beautiful", this thanks to the debut in the US of their first album "Up All Night" which received Airplay by ATRLers and debuted atop Billboard 200 (Besides one of their songs returns to the chart while other 5 debut in the lowest half of the tally)
