We need a referendum for that, so it's going to take a while.
I trust what happened in Ireland will happen here since youth are increasingly becoming more tolerant of LGBT.
The movement here is currently focused on employment, anti-discrimination rights, transgender rights, hate crimes, AIDS education and prevention and visibility to make people more tolerant. I think the recent wave of marriage wins is inspiring local activists to fight for civil unions.
One really great thing that happened recently was ProFamilia. a huge health organization with clinics all over the country, waiving the
pride flag in some of them. The banner says "Sexual choice is a human right." They have always been on the forefront on the AIDS treatment/prevention/education, family planning and reproductive rights.
