Night Time, My Time slays any other album released in 2013 (& probably 2014, too).
Tove Lo is more talented than Charli, Sky, and Foxes, and even though I adore this album and I'll be spinning it for a long time (like I did with the flawless EP) I'd still give best debut to FKA Twigs because the album is simply brilliant.
I also disagree that Tove's album is better than the rest that were listed. It doesn't come close to Night Time My Time, not as good as True Romance, but probably better than Foxes (never liked Glorious). You also forgot BANKS' Goddess, even if it was disappointing, I think it also accomplished more than QOTC

I loved sky before NTMT but the album bored me to tears minus one or two songs.
Totally forgot about Banks, which is better if only for the slayage that is Brain and Drowning.
But honestly why are some you getting so worked up about other people's opinions? Like this is the Tove Lo thread and if someone acknowledges that the other albums are also good but happens to prefer this one I don't see why you all have to act so defensive over an opinion Newsflash: your opinion isn't fact either
I definitely do not think I'd group LP1 and even Banks's album with these others (although I would compare them to each other). Those are just a bit more away from the spectrum of pop than these others lean. In any case, this is a great album and I'm really enjoying it! I hope this does well for her.
