You have no idea how tough it has been to decide on these applications. The moderator team really has been overwhelmed by the quality of many of your applications, and there have been some applications that even blew me away, which doesn't really happen all that often. There was one application that completely won me over and made me a full-on supporter of that person...and I'm not even sure if that applicant is among the top favorites. Just amazing work, guys, really.
I thought the admins weren't sending the apps to you guys until after it closed?
The Admins screened the applications as they came in to narrow the list down and then presented us with a shortened list to discuss. We got a head-start in deliberation a couple of days ago where we have established some frontrunners and we'll see how things go from there. The entire staff are taking this process seriously and want to get it right....and we will do just that. Good luck to everyone!

These two posts make me really excited to see how this turns out. I love how you guys aren't taking this lightly in the least.

It has been an intense deliberation. We're all cracking under the intensity of it all. Blood has been shed. Deep and dark secrets have been divulged. And a few applications moved us all to tears. It sure has been a team building experience.
