Aw
Design's so cute, it looks like Legos
Genie In a Bottle is such a classic. I got into it in 2014 (I was more aware of her later hits) when I was working, and I was in charge of the playlist there. One day a colleague asked for some Christina songs, so I google 'Christina Top 10 songs' and added those songs to the playlist. When
Genie In a Bottle came on, I realized that I knew that song. It's one of those songs that I heard when I was younger, but for some reason never really knew what song it was or who was singing it. I instantly loved it. Such a good pop song.
I've started listening to
Beauty Behind the Madness yesterday. I love all the singles so far - and don't understand the hate for
Can't Feel My Face. My reaction at first listen however, - it isn't really on the same lane as
Trilogy - or even
Kiss Land. His previous albums felt more - darkly experimental? - I don't know. This album seems to be a sort of breaking through so I understand the slight change in production. But I guess it's too early to give my verdict. I still like what I hear.
Trip Switch is cool. I won't be listening to the album though. My favorite song that I've heard of them is
Emergency and I'm pissed it's not on the album. I still play the song from time to time. It feeds my sense of vulnerability and I love when music does that to me. Masochism teas. I will stick to their EP. It's such a good winter album - brooding, atmospheric, melancholic.
..that medicine is killing me..
Vague opinions on the others - I like Jason DeRulo's songs - they are fun, but I don't think I'm interested in his albums as a whole. I should check out
Thunder. Leona never disappoints. I try, but can never get into Rita Ora. I saw 'Jake Shears' and I had to check out
The Other Boys. It's a bop I guess! I was stalking your last.fm the other day and saw that you were listening to that song on repeat, huhu. Not Bon Jovi out though. I told you I would give you my opinion on
How Does It Feel, but I've only listened to it once so far. There are some catchy tunes, but it's not really that ear-catching as a whole as it was with their previous works. I should give it some more spins. I'm glad your Kylie avi is back.
