Frances Conroy's character is FABULOUS. I hope she's given more airtime than she was today.
Overall this was an incredible episode but it didn't really feel like a premiere to me. It almost felt like a pilot, like there was too much shoved into one episode? Either way, I'm loving the cast and the story is very intriguing. It seems more streamlined than Asylum which I love and hate, but I'll wait for a few more episodes to form an opinion on that.
Oh and I hate how they killed off Lily Rabe's character so quick. I can't help but feel like she'll be revived and then given that end-of-an-episode-cliffhanger treatment?

in one of the promo we saw misty day talking to one of the other characters so im sure this wont be the last time we see rabe this season
A great start to what's going to be a kickass season. Those three (Lange, Bates and Basset) going at each other for the whole season is going to be great.
The opening scene at the LaLaurie house was beyond intense. The eyes and mouth sealed shut, the peeled back face, the damn bull head. Ugh. My gut was all knotted up.
Fiona is obsessed with youth and just started a war with the voodoo queen in an effort to get it. She opened up a can of worms she doesn't want any part of.
Still shocked that Lily Rabe was killed already.
Franken-Kyle. Can't wait to see how that develops! Evan Peters can't catch a break in these mini series
