I would KILL for a single in late september/october... However, at the pace shes going... I'm not getting my hopes up for a new single anytime soon. I'm thinking we wont get the album for another year or two and we'll be lucky as hell if we get a single within 5-7 months. Mark my words here.
I think she just has allot on her hands and shes taking it slow- which is perfectly fine because i'll wait as long as i have to for perfection and i KNOW this album will be perfect.
The album will most likely to due next year, i say it's 35% done. And i think she'll really get into this era when the movie get released and all the promo ends.
Everytime I get excited with these William Orbit rumors because of Ray of Light, I remember that he was the one who produced the weakest songs on Music... Amazing and Runaway Lover
What's so bad about Runaway Love and Amazing? And there are no weak tracks on Music - coming a close to second with American Life for not having a single filler track.

I think they don't add anything special to this album - the rest is almost perfect though. Don't Tell Me is one of my all-time favorite Madonna songs (all the songs she co-wrote with Joe Henry are between my all-time favorite Madonna songs in fact), but Nobody's Perfect is not really my cup of tea. And look at my username.

He was also involved in her best unreleased songs (Like a Flower and Liquid Love),
On second thought, Animal is also amazing, but the released Timbaland tracks were crap

Noel Gallagher: I Wanted Madonna To Sing Track Off My New Album
The new frontman reveals...
August 19, 2011 by Jason Gregory | Photo by WENN.com Share Tweet Noel Gallagher TicketsNoel Gallagher has revealed that he originally wanted to give a song that appears on his forthcoming album to Madonna.
The track, 'AKA...What A Life', a dance song, is one of the highlights of the former Oasis guitarist's debut solo album, 'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds'.
In an interview with The Sun, Gallagher said he considered giving the song to Madonna initially, but that his wife Sara MacDonald advised him against it.
“It was very acid house to begin with and so I was thinking of giving it to someone,” Gallagher said.
“I thought about Madonna then Sara said, 'Don't be daft, Madonna won't sing it. When are you likely to see Madonna?' So that spoiled it.”
Gallagher also revealed that he asked Fatboy Slim to remix the song but he turned it down because he couldn't do anything to the song.
“The song's easily up there with the best things I've ever done,” Gallagher added.
'Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds' is released in October.

Well I love all those tracks you mentioned. Especially Nobody's Perfect - the breakdown towards the end.
After having revealed the Madonna/Martin Solveig collaboration, Madonnarama just got some new exclusive info on Madonna’s current recording sessions for the upcoming album.
Like we confirmed a few weeks ago, William Orbit is one of the producers of the album. Joining the William Orbit-team is songwriter and record producer Jean Baptiste Kouame who co-produces WØ tracks. Jean-Baptiste worked with plenty of big names including Kelis, Kid Cudi, Rihanna and Macy Gray.
During the “Ray of Light” and “Music” sessions, the wait between different recordings did take quite a while, because Madonna recorded all the demos before they could be reworked.
To be more efficient this time and avoid long waiting times between takes, William Orbit is using Charlene Ava as a demo vocalist. This way the creative process isn’t interrupted and multiple demos with Ava’s vocals are sent to Madonna, so she can make a selection without having to sing every single demo herself.
The background vocals might also include Charlene Ava’s voice, alongside Nicki Richards, Donna DeLory and Orbit, but nothing has been decided yet.
Photographer Kevin Westenberg, who has shot plenty of celebrities and even Madonna backstage at Live8, has recently been working with William Orbit. He did take some studio pictures of the recording sessions that might be used in the future.
Finally there seems to be a lot of confusion about the W.E. soundtrack, and we would like to remind you that William Orbit’s music is not used at all in Madonna’s second directorial effort. The whole soundtrack has been composed by the amazing Abel Korzeniowski.
Stay tuned for more infos about Madonna’s new album…
