Can someone tell me why VH1 has so many videos online however a selected few receive TV spins, so why is that? Can someone tell me if they have any answers.

What does NS mean next to a name of a song on the VH1 Playlist? What determines the number of spins or showing of a video? I love the Kooks however only 1-5 showings, same with Def Leppard.

Def Leppard should swap with Madonna, Jordin/Chris or Usher in spins.

Because VH1 devotes 1/3 of the 24-hour day, or 8 hours, to videos (except on Sundays, which it is 5 hours videos, and the final 2 to the VSPOT Top 20 re-air), and the other 16 to shows.
There are more than a few get spins, and for next week's playlist, there are 43 videos in the regular rotation, and VH1's music video shows focus 95% of the spins to the playlist videos and the other 5% to recurrent, off-rotation vids (This is somewhat true with Jump Start, which 1-6 non-rotation recurrent vids are shown, and moreso during Nocturnal State hours, in which 4-9 non-rotation recurrent songs that get played during that 2-Hour period, some from the 1990s.), unlike the other music channels, such as MTV, MTV2 (although they used to play old videos in the music video freeform slots), and Fuse.

Do the video voting or showing of the videos affect the video streaming that is part of the Billboard Hot 100 formula? THanks

The reason why I put "NS", "F", and "JS" by videos in the 1-5 videos is because they will get only one spin a day (A playlist day is from 6:00A EDT-5:59A EDT) and the Medium and larger levels could get played more than once a day.
It shows what Music Video Block(s) in which that video will appear in.
VH1 Playlist Code
Only applies to 1-5 (On Spins)
VH1 Music Video Blocks
NS = Nocturnal State
F = Fresh: New Music
JS = Jump Start
[+] = Gain of Spins
[-] = Loss of Spins
[ADDED] = Added to the Playlist.
Removed = Removed from the Playlist

VH1 Music Video Block Schedule
Sun. Night/Mon-Thurs. Night/Friday
3AM EDT/2AM CDT/12AM PDT-5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT: Nocturnal State
5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT-6AM EDT/5AM CDT/3AM PDT: Fresh: New Music
6AM EDT/5AM CDT/3AM PDT-10AM EDT/9AM CDT/7AM PDT: Jump Start
10AM EDT/9AM CDT/7AM PDT-11AM EDT/10AM CDT/8AM PDT: Fresh: New Music
(Tuesday Mornings Only: The last hour of Jump Start and the 2nd Fresh: New Music airing is not shown due to the 3rd re-air of the VSPOT Top 20)
Friday Night/Sat
3AM EDT/2AM CDT/12AM PDT-5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT: VH1 VSPOT Top 20 Countdown [NEW]
5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT-6AM EDT/5AM CDT/3AM PDT: same as above.
6AM EDT/5AM CDT/3AM PDT-8AM EDT/7AM CDT/5AM PDT: Jump Start
8AM EDT/7AM CDT/5AM PDT-9AM EDT/8AM CDT/6AM PDT: Fresh: New Music
9AM EDT/8AM CDT/6AM PDT-11AM EDT/10AM CDT/8AM PDT: VH1 VSPOT Top 20 (1st re-air, and is commonly promoted on VH1 as the official new episode time, when in fact the new airing airs at 3AM EDT, not 9AM EDT, and I know about this because the recap is posted during the 3AM airing.)
Saturday Night/Sunday
3AM EDT/2AM CDT/12AM PDT-5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT: Nocturnal State
5AM EDT/4AM CDT/2AM PDT-8AM EDT/7AM CDT/5AM PDT: same as Friday Night/Saturday schedule.
8AM EDT/7AM CDT/5AM PDT-10AM EDT/9AM CDT/7AM PDT: VH1 VSPOT Top 20 (2nd re-air)
This music schedule has been consistently in use for at least a few years now-- maybe back sometime in 2005 or 2006, unlike MTV2, MTV, and Fuse, which have subtracted hours from music video rotation, although on extremely rare occasions, VH1 sometimes either reduces the music videos airtime (Ex. During Easter 2008, which only Jump Start and the 2nd Fresh: New Music airing was show.) or not show it entirely (Ex. During X-Mas and New Years 2007-2008) to show reality and other VH1 shows' worth marathons. This is done when there is a major holiday such as Easter or Christmas.

My Take on the Adds/Re-adds: 2/4 (Not the best of the bunch this week. Each add= 0.5)
Removals: 0.5/4 (Ferras removed was OK, but Olivia Broadfield, OneRepublic, and Mötley Crüe were premature removals. OneRepublic's new video out soon could be one of the reasons why it is removed.)
Spin Gains/Losses: The Gainers: About high time Jason Mraz gets more spins, 2 of the YOK artists (Adele and Justin Nozuka, and I like both, but Nozuka is better of the two.), and lastly, Bret Michaels gets a good increase of spins. The Losses: Duffy loses her every hour plays and will be spinned every 1.5 hours, Madonna, Leona Lewis, Jordin, and Usher, which he needed lesser plays.
Best Song(s) on the VH1 Playlist [24]: Leona Lewis “Bleeding Love”, Jordin Sparks/Chris Brown “No Air”, Maroon 5/Rihanna “If I Never See Your Face Again”, Augustana "Sweet And Low", The Last Goodnight "Stay Beautiful", Death Cab For Cutie "I Will Possess Your Heart", Natasha Bedingfield "Pocketful Of Sunshine", Madonna/Justin Timberlake/Timbaland "4 Minutes", Flyleaf “All Around Me”, Gavin DeGraw “In Love With A Girl”, Alicia Keys "Teenage Love Affair", 3 Doors Down "It's Not My Time", Rihanna "Take A Bow", Theory of a Deadman “So Happy”, Coldplay “Violet Hill", Def Leppard/Tim McGraw "Nine Lives", Jason Mraz “I’m Yours”, Bret Michaels “Go That Far”, Sara Bareilles "Bottle It Up", Justin Nozuka "After Tonight", Flobots “Handlebars”, Gavin Rossdale “Love Remains The Same”, The Ting Tings “Great DJ”, and REM “Hollow Man”.
Worst Song(s) on the VH1 Playlist [2]: John Mayer “Say”, Britney Spears “Break The Ice”

Ok adds for this week.Not happy to see OneRepublic removed,I really wanted Stop & Stare to join the 20/20 club.I agree with Brandon,they probably are going to add OneReublic's new video Say (All I Need) soon,can't wait for that one.I hope Leona Lewis can make the 20/20 club.She has alot of weeks left to go but I hope she makes it.

Why do they remove songs before a retirement? Its like they don't want videos to retire.
Can someone give me a list of retired videos, if thats too complicated, at least for 2008 or 2007-2008?
