Anyway, this song is terrible and delusional. It's every white 14 year old girl's diary-written vision of NYC, right down to the bright-lights and electric personality. It's a land of opportunity for people who are fiercely competitive (either with themselves or others), intelligent, talented, or just lucky. It's really, really hard to afford to live here while remaining a functioning, loving human being. You either move here because you have the funding to back you up, or you are crazy, both of with make up NYC's entire population. The quality of life for a self-sufficient resident that makes under 100k a year in NYC is significantly lower than that of the average 50-60k a year resident in the suburbs.

Super clean, four security gates so its super fast, and flies nearly everywhere direct flight
Plus we're really not as greenless as people thing
OOTW is great though and SIO is fun pop so it's enjoyable too-- but this.... ahhh
