He doesn't. He just sends a list of 5 names; if any of them are slashers, then the slashers have no choice but to kill the last one.

When I created the Joker, I specifically put "5 campers" to PM. In case the Joker PMs all the names of the slasher at least the remaining 1 is not a slasher. The "5 campers" is not merely a number but a contingency.

Idk if Robbie told the Joker who the slashers are but the purpose of "5 campers" is to avoid the Joker from accidentally picking all the 4 slashers.
