this news hit me hard. i love nice, i love the people there, i looove the boardwalk and have walked it up and down countless of times and have seen the fireworks from there and all the people gather and just love and enjoy everything... it's one of my favorite places in the world.

my prayers go out to all the people affected by this tragedy. my heart breaks not only for them, but also because i had to write this sentence over and over again this year and it pains me to see that things just won't get better.

love, people. everything else is too much of a burden and such a toxic waste of time.

rest in peace to all the victims and i hope everyone stays strong during these trying times.

The death toll rising to 84 omg this is so heartbreaking, 10 kids are dead and more than 50 injured. I hope they'll at least have a speedy recovery.

It also breaks my heart to see so many muslim people suffer because of this tragedy. So many muslims live in peace and would never harm anyone but yet they are being treated as if they did those attacks. That's truly horrible. Imagine a christian killing dozens of people and you are the one who's being attacked for it.

So many muslim people around the world mourn the death of these victims in nice today too, believe me.

To the religion-debate:

People need to start asking themselves why we don't see Chinese or Japanese people bombing themselves or driving trucks into masses of people. They also believe in their God/Gods, yet they stay rather peaceful even tho they are so overcrowded.
There is something inherently going wrong in the teaching of Islam (at least lately). Maybe it has to do with education, maybe with surpression, etc.. I rly have no clue, but one cannot neglect the fact that lately, most terrorist attacks have been performed by people who practise Islam.

Again, I have lots of friends who are moslem, so I would never generalize in this aspect.
