she is soooo lucky that she got chosen to be on those songs so she could be a part of its success...ppl here flip it the other way around and say Rihanna is part of the song success...NO ! the songs are part of Rihanna success...just imagine if jayz chose keys for run this town and Rihanna for empire state of mind...empire would still blow up and ppl would say its cuz of Rihanna
she had completely NOTHING to do with its success...at all

Why are you so mad?? ![rolleyes](http://www.atrl.net/forums/images/smilies/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif) Listen to last Eminem's album Recovery, there are many songs who sound very similar to LTWUL (for example 25 To Life), but they didn't smash.. Why??These songs had unknown female vocalists, do you remember the day when Recovery was released, LTWUL went #1 on itunes in very short time, other songs from this album didn't do that well. People were interested in this song the most cuz it was ,,ft Rihanna'', you just can't deny that Rihanna is part of this song success, of course it's not only her, it's good lyrics, great Eminem's verses ect... Rihanna does amazing job with collabs, no wonder why rappers always invite her to do song with them ![:o](http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/korn0818/ATRLSmilies/redface_zpsfd99364e.gif)

I agree. But that could happen with any artist... i mean when two pop stars join forces together in one song that means something... nobody knows if the song is amazing or not, but everybody want to hear a song with Eminem and Rihanna.
But i think that's not because of Rihanna, i think if this song would be Eminem and Britney, or Eminem and Katy Perry, Eminem and Lady Gaga... it would be successful as well.
The credit for this song i think goes for Eminem who create it and is the main artist of the track.

Why are talking about the whole Love The Way You Lie hit capacity thing yet AGAIN?
It is CLEAR, abundantly so, that Eminem was at another career high. His songs were going to be inevitably popular after he did so well with Not Afraid. Rihanna's presence on the song simply exacerbated that fact.

It's amazing how people follow the progress of the artists they hate more than the actual stans. Really shows something about their character. ha.

People are always interested to hear 2 big stars in one song.. Yeah, if LTWUL would be with other BIG female star like Lady GaGa Britney, it would be a smash too. But Eminem wanted to work with Rihanna cuz she was just perfect for this song, he knew it.. Rihanna did killer chorus + she is radio fave and this song did amazing on all formats.
I wouldn't give credit only to Eminem..
Eminem's verses + Rihanna's chorus + Alex Da Kid production = BIG HIT

Because of the gif, and I probably get a warningpoint for it because it can be seen as flamebait.

I think what unaah's trying to refer to is several people who have posted that it was like 90%+ because of RIhanna that LTWYL got the success it did, which is not necessarily true. It was a joint effort of all forces obviously. The "ft. Rihanna" part could have garnered initial interest, yes, but if it was a ****** song it wouldn't have blown up as big as it had. Take Lady Gaga and Beyoncé for example. Two big names. Video Phone was a ****** song, so it wasn't very successful. On the other hand, Telephone was a very good song, and it landed on #1 on Pop radio, and #3 on the Hot 100. It wasn't because of just the names of the artists, but also the quality of the track. Love The Way You Lie is an amazing song (but I burned out of it eventually like I did with Airplanes), and it deserved the success that it got.

anyway I would be happy with 2 songs around 2.5M copies

I am entirely convinced both songs will pass the 3 milllion mark. Isnt it just a question of time? If OG won't have sold 3 million by spring so it can still do it till summer or fall....
