No. It looks tacky.
I don't like the idea of deluxe editions at all.
Shorter albums are usually much better and more cohesive.

If I do the opposite, I should delete the deluxe tracks from the playlist whenever I listen to the album and I'm a lazy bitch so

I'd still do the same. Track listings of standard editions are always most important for me.

And I wan't both covers to show on my iTunes so if I'd do it that way, one cover won't come up.

So you have two versions of the same song on your iTunes? I couldn't do that to myself

I delete the "deluxe" tags and just use it as the normal album....
I also delete feature names. I know who is on the song

Yes. It clutters up my iTunes, so I keep it all together and then change the artwork on the deluxe songs to the matching album art.

Usually i will keep the (deluxe edition) or (platinum edition) on it, but to be very honest this thread gives me new perspective. I may be starting to change those things
But i have a question, if i have a song from the deluxe version, like Schoolin' Life for example, it's from 4 Deluxe. So if i change the album art and delete the 'deluxe' on it, so it's gonna appear like it's from the standard edition?

It looks ugly, I know who is featured, I don't need it ruining my minimalistic aesthetic

Sometimes I can spend hours and hours editing my music metadata making sure it's correct and in the right order, I always put the correct track name, correct artist and featured artist, correct tracklisting, correct disc number, correct genre, correct song name and correct artwork on as well, I hate and I will judge people who have not organised their music collection properly and if they have no artwork on their music, I go mad, I will rant at them.
Here is an example of editing that I have had to do for one of my albums:
I had to change every capital letter after the first word as most words in Italian don't have a capital letter in every sentence and words where a person's name is there (Rafaella), I just left it, the UK iTunes Store left every song with a capital letter at the beginning of every word, the Italian iTunes Store hasn't done that, I had to change every track name and put every featured artist as Tiziano Ferro feat. or Artist feat. Tiziano Ferro, it took me an hour and a half to get it perfect and I was exhausted after doing that.
I'll always make sure my iTunes and music collection in general is correct and the way that it should be done. That's the only thing I'm seriously anal about.

I used to all the time but then I got over it for some reason. Now I only keep it for older albums so I don't mess up those scrobbles, but for new ones I never label it like that. Also I would always do (Deluxe Edition), never (Deluxe) or (Deluxe Version). I think the only two exceptions are Born This Way and BEYONCE.

Essentially, yes. I usually just download deluxe albums, remove the deluxe label from the album, and make the artwork the one I like most.

I did something similar with a Björk album of unreleased and other stuff with hundreds of tracks. I organized them as different discs grouped by years and it took FOREVER because so much was wrong and random

No. I'm very particular about my last.fm and think it looks messy with 'deluxe' tags.
