Nothing is even showing. Y'all need to get a grip. She wanted to show her friends and family. It's a beautiful picture of unconditional love for their son. Everyone else gets to share pics of their illicit drug use and cigarette smoking and other crimes but THIS is too much??

The dad was being a good parent but what exactly warrants a photo or social media post about this? Why does this upsetting moment that the child is going through need to be shared with the world? It's not raising awareness for anything.

Idk if you read her post on FB but she did explain that her son is a 'mummy's boy' but in this instance, all he wanted was his father

Include the circumstances (son was extremely poorly) and it's rather cute

I didn't like this story from the moment that it first surfaced. It feels like an elaborate and unnecessary attempt to get attention, social media "likes", and a few minutes of Internet fame.

I would never post a picture of my naked child, especially at a time when he is ill, vulnerable, and uncomfortable on the web. It is simply not right.

And yes, I read her justification for that Facebook post. If it was such a tender and important moment for her she could have taken the photo and keep it as a personal memento, not post it where a bunch of anonymous eyes with unknown intentions and interests could get a hold of it.

It's clear both parents were doing all they could to alleviate the child's fever. I don't know where you're getting this idea that the mother's first instinct was to snap a provocative photo for social media likes when the context of the story -- which is all we have to go by -- suggests otherwise

And where on earth is the evidence on which these accusations are based? By the mother's own admission she didn't think the photo would generate this much buzz.

Just because you wouldn't do it doesn't mean someone else wouldn't be uncomfortable with it. You're assuming this woman shares a similar viewpoint as you and then assassinating her character by concluding she must have an ultierer motive

Why do people post pics of the food they're about to eat? Or a random selfie before going out, as if we don't already know what they look like?

It's social media. The value is in the sharing of whatever type of "moment" is captured in the photo. It doesn't need to "raise awareness." It's Facebook, not a non-profit organization
