She tried to jump on the EDM trend all the kids were listening to, it's her most immature album imo. Most of the GP doesn't listen to lyrics in dance songs.

100 results within the past 5 weeks mentioning Artpop...not what I'd consider "over it".

FYI, I like her as an artist, but I'm allowed to have an opinion. She's not a great vocalist. I don't think Taylor, one of my faves, is a great vocalist either, but she's still one of my faves. She wasn't "jumping" on anything. She's been doing EDM since her first album. She literally made her most unrelatable and alienating album with ARTPOP, there's even a song with her putting on an odd, jarring singing voice singing about overcoming drug addiction. Like....
And don't be dense. Her fans are over being upset about it underperforming. That doesn't mean they're going to pretend it doesn't exist, they'll still discuss it because it's an album from their fave.

Why not? The artpop era is good! It's just that the little monsters actually expected too much from the era and gaga can't give them what they want because that's the limit of the album's success

Let's put it this way: Katy's put herself in a box. If she continues the same stuff she'll be dragged. If she changes, she'll be dragged for changing. She'll be dragged either way. She'll either underperform or full out flop.

Katy will keep on doing what she's been doing = releasing albums with good album tracks but generic singles. it's been working for her i don't think she will change that.

If she's serving songs like Witness, then she's probably fine. I highly doubt her team would create an album as alienating as Artpop (no shade, I love Gaga  )

I see someone's pressed their fave can't maintain her relevancy after trying everything in the book to remain relevant. Getting vomited on, performing the national anthem,; None of it worked for more than 2 weeks. I guess when you're a 2009 nostalgia act that can't get a SuperBowl Halftime Show performance that is very explainable.
Too bad the only time people bring up Artpop is when they're making fun of how horrible the album is and how unsuccessful it was
But no, KP4 will not be her Artpop era because she'll actually stay successful.

Just don't expect anything too different from her if Witness is any indication
