Shouting? You Demi haters are just trolls anf embarrasigs human beings. WHEN WILL YOUR TALENTLESS, TASTELESS, BASIC AND PERSONALITYLESS FAVES? Absolutely never.
This cover is absolutely holy. If you're just gonna come in every Demi thread with negativity all the time you better ****ing stay away. At first it was fun but now it's so disgusting. Imaging if everybody was trolling in EVERY single thread of your fave.
Jeez, I've had enough already.
Go, Dems. Thanks for giving us such an amazing bop. This song is literally perfect for her. Can't wait for the full version.
Leona fans are used to that , you can ask them for some advices
I'm afraid to listen to the final belt. Lol. I love Demi and all but she has a bit too much "soul" (for example, Stone Cold's "happy for you"). If she pulls off a flawless belt like she did at the Grammy's, this is gonna slay all your faves.
I love Demi and don't think her new way of singing is bad, but I prefer the old vocals (pre-"Confident").
Hahaha! Exactly, before she supposedly found "her sound".
I listen back to her first 2 albums all the time and the smooth pop-rock vocals is just LIFE! Her vocals in Get Back, Remember December, La La Land, Here We Go Again, Got Dynamite, The Middle >>>.

She calls Confident, 'her sound' ? I am very confused by that because it felt like her least genuine effort
"Confident" is not bad, it's just easier to appreciate the songs on their own vs as an album (if that makes sense). There also should've been more than 13 songs. Anyway, like I said, I do prefer her old vocals, but this IWS cover is the first new/recent song that makes me feel like it'd sound better if she took it down a notch (though it doesn't sound bad as is).
It will be interesting to see how she performs older material during the upcoming tour,
especially since she hasn't performed any old songs since "Confident" was released.
Not in my opinion. It feels like her best effort to date for me.
If she says Confident is her sound it means it truly is her sound depite half of you always claiming Pop/Rock Demi back.
Also...
Her vocals in soulful songs like MLILAS, Yes, Lightweight, Stone Cold >>>>>>>>>>> her vocals on any pop rock song tbh.
I am not even the biggest fan of her first two albums though, except for some highlights,, but overall everything from her debut until her Selftitled album felt truly genuine to me, you saw the natural growth, you saw her. The sound itself from Confident felt like she tried to catch up overall to be a sexy popgirl. I actually enjoy Confident as album, but her delivery and her image during that era didn't compliment with the growth she went through the last years. I mean each their own. I mainly enjoy Demi's music. But I genuinly hope she won't go too far with this "new sound", since it kinda lacks for the most part why I like Demi.

I agree with you though, her image has been HORRIBLE this era. And I think that's the main reason she underperformed.

This ... Although I will always love "Here We Go Again" Demi , I personally think she'll be more memorable and iconic singing the way she's doing right now.
In this particular song she sounds incredible , the versatility, the tone , the vibrato , the ****ing power. I get why you're all bothered , I feel sorry for y'all because your fave will never get to to this ever ....
