No he doesn't. His album is 11x Platinum in Latin certifications

And i just looked it up and all the Farruko songs are Latin certifications too!

Latin certifications for both albums and singles are:

Oro (Gold) - 30,000
Platino (Platinum) - 60,000
Multi-Platino (Multi-Platinum) - 120,000
Diamante (Diamond) - 600,000

-So Romeo Santos' album is certified for 660K (which is amazing for a Latin artist)

-And Farruko's songs are certified within the 30-180K range (which is also amazing for a Latin artist)

Was Romeo Santos certified Gold too in regular RIAA Certifications? I remember when the Latin Certifications started, 100,000 was Gold, 200,000 was Platinum, and 400,000 was Double Platinum. So when a Latin album was certified Double Platinum that CD was also about to be certified Gold. Obviously the Latin levels were lowered over the years. I didn't realize that had happened until about a year ago.

BTW I think Selena's Dreaming Of You is the biggest selling and highest certified predominantly Spanish release in history, as DOY was certified 3X Platinum for sales of over 3 million. Selena's murder is one of the most tragic events in modern music history, as she had never done anything to anyone. RIP Selena.
