The end. I'm ok if you write "I don't know/like any of these " to be honest. Thanks!
My whole opinion about Nothing But Thieves was already stated (on the last page, see #20. Wake Up Call) and Trip Switch just proves the Muse-influenced lyrics. Although that's actually a compliment. I haven't see what's the true meaning behind this song, but at least for me it's about social media, the internet, and how these new means of communication are kind of 'dehumanizing', instant, and dependent. One of my favorite lyrics of 2015. Wish it had a video that related more to them, if my understanding is correct. So... they had an AMAZING 2015, I hope (and I'm pretty sure) they'll comeback in 2017, let's see what they got in hands.
Their first material was really, really great, so I waited a long time for this one. And while Inanimate Objects certainly didn't disappoint, it seems as if they don't really care about this whole new album just as they did with When It Was Now . Just look at the cheap video they did for this great track. Molecules is great, it has Atlas Genius written all over it, a perfect indie pop song. I fear that they are going to pay this album dust, so let me light a candle for poor inanimate Objects. Still, Molecules is in no way better than the masterpiece Trojans.

#09. Meghan Trainor - "All About That Bass"
This is the first time ever Tame Impala scores a song in my yearend countdown, and in their first time doing it so, they do it to be top 10. I never really understood the acclaim (in the past), but after Currents, everything changed. Of course it was because this album is more pop oriented, but without missing the experimental and psychedelic beats that distinguish them. I could write more about Let It Happen, but everything has been written about it, so... this one's is actually a MUST LISTEN of 2015, though. No matter what genres you are into.
Purity Ring's music has always been a trip. Their entire act is so creative and weird, they deliver ART. And while Another Eternity (I love their album's name) is more pop-ish than their previous works, it still has their staple electronic sounds (something similar to what happened with Tame Impala). Begin Again is an electronic masterpiece. I think that if sent to radios, it could've smashed (don't know that really), but it's infectious and sublime. Scroll down to see what I have to say about the video.
This song is such an underrated masterpiece. Why Canada has the power to produce such underrated acts? Half Moon Run's work is full of wonderful and mesmerizing songs you can't imagine. The production of Turn Your Love is of some other galaxy. This is one of the songs that I love every single second of it, you can't imagine. It could've been #1, but, oh well.
Whatever I had in mind to write about this song was sent to trash because it's now a hit. So, saying things like "OMG the lyrics are so relatable", "that's so me!!!", "I'm in high school and I can relate so much to this song, love it", is stupid now. Because I loved the song because of the lyrics and how relatable it was. But well. Go enter this video's YT page and you'll see how their fans are TRIGGERED about this going mainstream. At least now they have a hit and they can be headliners. And I'm glad it was with their best song.

Eh, they are actually kinda obscure. Not that really, but I wish they were at least a little bit more "mainstream" in the indie scene. Because they are really talented and they have something new to offer with their music. Vamala is a lovely masterpiece (hate throwing around this word so much but I don't have any other word in my mind that describes these masterpieces, sorry). The lyrics and melody are beautiful and marvelous. A song to fall in love with.
I love Shawn, and while this is actually not his best song (wonder when will he surpass Show You), it still is a great pop song. The lyrics confirm (once again) his writing skills. And it has replay value. Hence the reason why he reached #03. Just hope he "experiments" a little bit more and drop his acoustic guitar somewhere else. Or use it for songs like Show You. I demand Show You part 2. Finally, in case you were wondering, he was my top artist in 2015, so congrats King of Vine.
I want to thank Everything Everything for introducing me to this relic. A relic as a whole: both song and video are pieces of art. The uniqueness and sublimeness of Apparition comes in its lyrics, its production, the voice, in everything. And while I admit that it was hard to get into it, that's exactly how I got into many of the songs that end up in this positions. Hope to hear more from them in the future, they have a lot to show. Maybe they could be the next HAIM.

This is a weird #1. Not because this is alternative, because in fact, it's actually a pop song that I know it could've smashed just as Stressed Out is smashing right now. It's weird because this is the best track that Smallpools released, yet Dreaming has more recognition. It's weird because they paid dust to this single, by not releasing it properly, despite the indie media talking about it when it was first uploaded. It's weird because it didn't got an "actual" video treatment, and in my mind, I wanted a video just about the same quality and production as the one for Dreaming. It's weird because the entire Lovetap era, which was ironically their debut album, was as well ignored. What the hell was wrong with this guys? This song could be massive. Ah. But well, I loved it from the very first time they uploaded it. It's an extraordinary pop song that I played during months and it still sounds fresh. I just hoped it was treated as it had to. The least recognition it could get is being #1 in this countdown. Really sad.

The end. Three new masterpieces in drama, animation, and horror. And a personal fave thaw was off the charts.
So I didn't read the book of this one, because while The Maze Runner was good, and seeing how they changed several things in the adaptation, I decided it was better that I shouldn't read the books to avoid disappointment. And it was effective. So damn effective i love this movie so much, million times better than the first one, the entire Divergent series, and the last Hunger Games movie. This movie has it ALL: drama, action, thriller, horror, and the plot twist that had all of uf fuming.
**** you, Teresa.
I stanned so hard for Queen Brenda. Now I'm just worried that they are not going to do another one, because it didn't do that well in the box office, so let's see and light another candle for this franchise and Dylan.

The new horror soon-to-be-cult masterpiece. As I said in The Babadook write-up, these two movies brought back to life this genre. It Follows takes a lot of things from the horror classics, yet it puts together many refreshing elements, such as the anachronic time, the vaporwave score (which by the was should be recognized), and an overall aesthetic that results in the most beautiful and artsy horror film that we've ever had. As if it wasn't enough, the screenplay is perfect, and such original plot shouldn't be disregarded.
I guess you could tell from my avi. While released originally in 2014, it was released here until 2015, of course ad hoc Oscar season, so, that's why in this year's list. In any case, this has to be one of my all-time favorites. Everything about it is perfect. Every single thing. I'm still mad that Miles wasn't recognized for his amazing performance. And that it didn't won Best Picture, but well, at least Birdman won, so...

The end! Two videos from two songs that made the BEST 50 top 10. Coincidence?
So it's sad that you cannot appreciate this work of art. Go to your local Apple Music and search for it, because it's not even on any freaking part of the internet. That's a preview by the way, which I guess you will not be able to see as well. Greedy bastards.

#04. Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials #03. It Follows #02. Inside Out #01. Whiplash
Stitches is tolerable/cute, as I said before. Stressed Out is awesome, I think the fact that it just became a single and blew up actually made me like it more (not that I didn't prior to that, but still.)
Scorch Trials I actually prefer the first one. The original was my #1 favorite film from 2014 and then Scorch Trials was my #12 or something. Still an amazing action flick, though! Inside Out is obviously perfection.
Wait... your top 10 is excelent
Trip Switch, Molecules, Let It Happen, Stressed Out, Stitches & Karaoke
All that movies
BTW, I enjoyed a lot The Babadook, Daniel had like 5 minutes in the movie But that was enough
Begin Again is iconic
Loved your best of!!
Messy that 5 minutes were enough for you.
Thank you so much!

Glad to hear that Maze Runner was your previous #1. Yeah, I mean, Scorch Trials came to me unexpected, unlike the TMR since I read the book for that one, so, I guess that kind of explains. Inside Out Thanks!
