But one that made me cry when I was a kid, and still sometimes today it Pokemon the first movie. When ash got turned into stone.... Actually, I think the first five pokemon movies made me cry.
Oh god, yeah this movie ****ed me up. So amazing. Such a slow burner but it's so worth it. There is definitely a difference in The Road between sad and depressing.

idk about anyone else but The Perks of Being a Wallflower made me extremely depressed for months (I was already depressed watching it though so maybe that's why and I'm a similar age to the main character. The whole ending killed me)

the most depressing film I've seen is Grave of the Fireflies It's terribly sad
This anime movie aolbout a 7 year old boy and his little sister in Japan during WW2. My heart legit was about to broke. So sad i erased the name from my memory so i cant ever see it again
