No not at all..I just love vocal pedagogy period..I have a genuwine interest of things of the sort (I'm also a singer and dancer check out my IG for clips: @rokitpwr). Sorry if I sound all texbookish that's just how I type tbh..I also am fascinated by Beyonce's headvoice so I'd figure I'd share with some of her fans..thanks for visiting

Mariah at her peak" - ..exclusively used falsetto or whistle during her peak years 1990-1997 she used head voice very seldomly and it remained underdeveloped until AFTER her vocal prime..Her falsetto while having great ease and range, was disconnected, while Beyonce retains full-chord closure with head voice.

I think she got bored while doing the backing vocals and her ADHD kicked in, causing her to go on a vocal tangent with all the ornaments and such in the bridge lol She did that a lot during her early days lol
I don't know a lot about what types of voices are used but I'm pretty sure she uses a lot of head voice here, and although I don't know that for sure, I do know for a fact she played. (It's long so just skip to about halfway if you don't got the time)
Whitney has more resonance due to her being a larger sized voice (her tone might be appealing but this thread isn't based on any subjective basis), but Beyonce has more agility, more flexability, more range (and whitney's the soprano), and more variety/creative in terms of stylistic choices.
