They're not, and I never said they were
But they're the ones that will actually make streaming services perk up and listen. You really think Spotify is going to give a flying **** if a bunch of indie artists withhold their albums from their service?
The big players like Taylor, Adele and Coldplay are the ones that can actually make an impact. All the more reason for you to go buy your favorite artists' albums directly, whether they're a heavy hitter like Adele, or even more so if they're a small indie artist.
Support your favorite artists by buying their album/streaming on services that actually care about paying the artist properly. You can't blame an artist for wanting to make as much as possible off of their hard work. As it stands, buying the album outright is still the best way. That way you own it and you can stream it or listen offline as much as you want.
