"Vanity" would'ave been the perfect first single. It's already the fan favorite of the album and much better received than NMT was. It has a hook, memorable lines all over and it stands out which is everything NMT lacked.

But you're right that it can't be released next since anything even remotely electro-pop from her now will be criticized. And neither can Desnudate since that would probably be plagued with comparisons to Get Naked and Alejandro.
