Besides, it ain't our responsibility to @ her on Twitter and try to educate her. You really think she's gonna respond, 'oh okay thanks 4 dis. I'll look into it!' ?? It's obvious she doesn't care

Also when that bogus article came out that was titled like "Hip Hop is Run By A Blonde White Girl" or something, a writer from Source mag wrote a piece about what was wrong with it and Iggy @'d him on Twitter with a picture of a salt shaker dismissing him by calling him salty. Just another example.

She has said racist things and hasn't even apologised properly for it (please don't link me to the pathetic apology that was for the slavemaster)
She has said ignorant things and refuses to educate herself.
I'm sorry, but her lack of talent for her success is astonishing.
I will admit though she gets more hate because she's a female. I mean, look at Bieber.
they both suck anyways

Iggy's first interaction with Azealia was in 2012 when Azealia tweeted profanity to her and accused her of copying her song just because it had a same name.
NOBODY would respond well to someone who done that. No matter what Azealia does, it comes across as hateful.

When Q-tip politely tried to explain to her what was going on and she tried to act as a victim of Q-tip

how is it not the same thing? the same people praising her before are now the ones hating on her because of her tweets and her "blackcent", but if you take a look at those threads, literally no one said anything about it.
it just shows that people learn, they educated themselves on the subject and have a different vision now.
why can't Iggy do the same? I think she learned from her mistakes.

MTE. She doesn't want to educate herself because she doesn't give two ***** about racism, her ignorance or acknowledging her privilege as a white person. That's the worst kind of person you could get is someone who doesn't admit their faults of course she's always the victim!

Okay, you do realize you can like somebody at first and then, through valid reasons, end up hating them? The dislike for Iggy isn't unfounded. She is rowing the boat she herself set to sea

so what? should we all post threads about our faves at the beginning of their career till now? I'm 100% positive that every single one has seen nice comments decrease and bitchy comments increase as the years went by.
Yeah, Iggy got a lot considering its just her first year, but so did many polarizing people. Vanilla Ice for example. I'm sure he got a ton of hate during his first few years too.

Noooo. Azealia has been coming for Iggy forever. She was not educating Iggy on anything as much as she was taking the time out use her minutes to maximize herself. And the gist from that interview is that Iggy should not be in Hip hop. The same message came from Twitter with people constantly bashing her. The only one who was truly trying to educate her was Q-Tip and she naively rebuffed him. One would hope that T.I. told her to take a second look at his words and she apologizes to him.

Really? Because in that interview Azealia didn't come across as hateful. Her face was drenched in tears, she was clearly frustrated with racism towards black Americans. But yah, of course Iggy wouldn't take that seriously because of something that happened in 2012!

I'm SAYING that it's one thing if someone said they like Fancy and then pretended a year later that they hate it and always have. It's a totally other thing for them to say they like Fancy and then a year later say they don't like Iggy. You can like her song and not like her and that doesn't make you a passenger on her "hate bandwagon". That's what a lot of the people in those old threads did. They congratulated her on her record deal or bopped to Fancy but then as time went on they stopped liking her for reasons you don't even know. That's not a hate bandwagon. You're just assuming that it is.

But did I say that? Why would someone try to get Iggy to understand and she restores to that stubborn attitude and brushes them off as 'bitter' and 'haters'. You telling me people won't give up, be patient with her and won't start cussing her?

I liked her when I first listened to Work. But as a black person myself, finding out the disgusting things she has done, am I really gonna like her? It's just not realistic.

Iggy stans need to realize what iggy is and what she portrayed herself as, lord its hurts to see them defend her. She attacks anyone who doesnt believe she is the messaih of hip hop and plays victim all of the time, even with past collaborators
Plus her twitter and her accent dont help, yet she keeps on pushing both harder than ever

in all honesty, what do you guys get from that? other than ignored tweets and posts on a forum?
most of the people who hate on her don't really care about the issue at hand, if y'all really cared, you'd do something else other than hating on Iggy.
I'd love to see how many of you guys actually do something about this in real life instead of posting on a forum.
and I totally understand the "hate", I don't have anything to say about that because I'm not delusional and I understand the things that she's done.

Black people do embrace white artists if theyre perceived as authentic. Adele and Sam smith are both accepted well in the black community. They incorporate elements of black music in a respectful way and dont try to hijack black culture. Iggy gets hassle cause of her attitude and disrespect.
