And, btw, a peak is only the HIGHEST point of you career. You don't peak for six years. You peak for an era. Madonna's peak is TIC, though since it didn't happen all at one time (greatest hits sell over time), it could be argued that True Blue was her peak.

Not even. She only had one hit single in the US with that era and everything else was an underperformance. Her tour was nonexistent and her acclaim was pretty much subpar aside from a BNA nom at the Grammys. The era is the smallest of all the women mentioned.

Madonna and Mariah's peaks were before my time so It's a bit difficult to compare them to the others. But I would say Madonna had the bigger peak of the 2.

For the others I would say Britney > Gaga > Katy > Beyonce. The gap between Britney and Gaga is quite small though.

"From the Bottom of My Broken Heart," the biggest flop from the album, was the 8th best-selling physical single of the 2000s.

Britney's peak was miles bigger than Gaga's, Katy's and Beyonce's and your consistently wrong opinions aren't going to change that

Also her albums never made the top 5 of the best selling albums of the year. She never DOMINATED like Gaga, Mariah and Madonna. She was overshadowed by others..

And if Gaga's peak was so much bigger globally, why did she move less album equivalents? And please don't come with an excuse about the market. Not only do we account for that with album equivalents, but Gaga's peak is made up of two separate albums and seven singles.

True Blue and The Fame are way bigger than BOMT. I think even Teenage Dream is a bigger era than BOMT if it weren't for the albums sales being so low.

True Blue: 25 million albums sold (it's one of the biggest albums ever in Europe)
