I think it's really cool that they point out injustice and inequality but some try way too hard. Some of you need to look up the term social justice warrior this isn't a thing that was just born from tumblr.
For hundreds of years people have been fighting social justice causes.

Womens right to vote
Civil rights movement
LGBT rights
etc

It's like you people are trying really hard to appear edgy and painfully obtuse.

The problem is the extremist SJWs. I agree with most points regarding equality and I think it's a good mindset to have. The problem comes when someone says something they don't mean and then all of a sudden they have 50,000 white tumblr girls on their case looking for every "problematic" thing they have ever done. Even if a celebrity messes up and really apologizes, the extremists won't forgive or forget. It's kind of ridiculous because every single person has done something questionable regarding ethics and it's stupid to say they haven't. The whole "holier-than-thou" mindset some of them have makes them really hard to befriend. Also I find some of them boring since they literally do not talk about anything other than social justice.

It's great to see people defending people from other people that can be offensive when is necessary. The SJW people bitch about/don't like are so over the top and create situations/problems when there shouldn't be. Like oh my gawd this person is wearing this shoes!!! kill ha!!!

I'm just gonna give an example of the SJW I dislike.. in certain thread not too long ago I commented "omg Lorde ha asian bf is gonna have a blast" or something like that then an ATRL SJW quoted me calling me racist and I don't value asian lives because I mentioned his race. That person said I should apologize and I said I did not do anything wrong and he said see you do not wanna admit you are a racist and said that my comment was racist because I said asian bf and people associate asians as less than other people/uncool people. When in reality if you think about it this poster was wrong for assuming ANYBODY think that way about asians.. apparently he thinks we all do. I told him/her comments like yours are the reason whe people don't take real issues serously... weird IMO because people always go like oh the latin singer, oh the white rapper, oh the african american dancer, oh the asian actress!!! I do not see anything wrong with that and keep in mind I'm a minority myself(hispanic).

Another kind of SJW is when they defend something being nasty towards something else in order to defend their beliefs... hmm no sweeties being nasty and offensive is not the way to do it. I cannot stand people doing that is the most hypocrite thing ever be polite if you want your opinion to be taken seriously.
