I completely agree with you to a degree (as I pointed out earlier). I hate the thought that there are people who misuse welfare and government benefits. There need to be ways to control it, yes. But saying to cut welfare altogether at a certain point (as you did in one post) cannot the solution imo.
You mention the occasional legitimate case but from the outside it may not always be easy to judge which case is legitimate. If your family managed to get through those hard times on their own that is great, it truly is. But not everyone can do that, for various reasons.
I mean, all in all, we all seem to agree: there are many people who get children for all the wrong reasons - but I would refrain from judging all poor people who have children from the bad examples because those are often much louder and much more prominently featured in the media.
