That still doesn't answer my question when it comes to immigration in those countries and their recent attitudes. Like I said, Europe is no better when it comes to their recent attitudes on immigration.

And secondly you can't compare the US political situation with that of Europe. It's much easier to pass laws in a largely homogenous population than one that it's too heterogenous.
