I don't think they would take the risk imo remember they make films for money purposes and they know a decent amount of people would sadly refuse to see the film due the gay(ness)
I personally think they should do the slow root maybe make the princess have a gay sidekick and if the film so popular he can get a spin off? Or even a princess falls in love with a prince she gets mad because she think he's flirting with another girl and the other girls turns out to be his lesbian friend?
One of the creators of Frozen was all "" when asked if Elsa was queer, and her entire storyline is a giant coming out story...
Of course, they'll ruin it by making "Elsa marries a man!!1!" the main plot of the sequel.

I honestly don't ever see that happening in our lifetime. I think that would simply be making the character gay just for the sake of it. Though I'm not opposed to it, I don't see a Disney prince/princess being overtly gay. Just... no.
Honestly, I believe Frozen's true intention was to highlight homosexuality. It was supposed to go against the tradition. Thing is, it would've been "unacceptable" and "inappropriate" for children, so they broke tradition another way: the true love between 2 family members that were females. I think that's the closest they could get to it. Honestly, it doesn't matter to me. As long as the movie is good, who cares what their sexual orientation is?

because straight is the norm. most gays think they're straight until they hit puberty.
But there ARE gay kids? It doesn't matter what the norm is. It can teach kids their friends can be gay or straight.
yes, very few. but kids don't care, they're kids!? why should kids care about social issues & why should disney teach them their friends can be gay when their parents can do it for free?
i can see a teen sitcom on disney channel with a gay person but a movie wouldn't make any (or little) profit & hurt disney's image.
