You didn't elaborate. You completely changed what you said because you were called out for it. Saying someone looks like a fashion disaster and saying some gays need to "calm down a little" because they're shaming their parents are not the same thing.

I am a child of parents who questioned why I wanted to wear brightly-coloured clothes and scoffed at the idea of a man wearing heels in public (if it's not for drag), so I know what it feels like to have someone else's ideas of "what it means to be a man" inflicted upon you.

It is counterproductive to censor creative expression and only debilitates the people whose identities you wish to suppress.
