"Gimme More" smashed effortlessly worldwide with a half-assed VMA performance. "Piece Of Me" did awesome worldwide too, with zero promotion. If the music is good enough, she won't need to promote. The rest of the world didn't care much for Circus for obvious reasons...

I would like to see an SNL performance, though.
Yeah, I know what you mean but my point is that if "circus" did ok, imagine how it would've done if it was promoted properly?? And I think that every artist has to promote, but that's just my opinion.
ya just heard some news yesterday. Cheryl will release an US version of the album but she wont promote like crazy. The plan is just try, and if it happens to be sucessfull she will focus in her solo carrer after the next GA album.
Plus they're trying to make Cheryl duet with a big american female artist. her first option is Britney Spears and looks like Britney team likes the idea. Britney will release her new album while Cheryl will be trying in USA so, a duet with Britney would be great, even though it wont become a single, everything about Britney generate buzz.
Idk but i think Garibay is working with Britney too, maybe its a sign?
Omg! I'd LOVE a Britney/Cheryl duet! That would be freaking awesome! I doubt it will happen though, since Brit hardly EVER collaborates, simple because she doesn't need to, but I think even her label can see that it would do WONDERS for her in the UK!
^ Exactly, I was reading that thread where that one comment was posted(that website is from the UK) and they all were saying that even tho they would like em to collaborate it would actually benifit both of them. They said that Britney has lost respect in the UK while Cheryl is like the biggest thing ova there atm. Cheryl is basically unknown in the US while Britney is BIG it would give her a lot of buzz.
Cheryl is just so........blah. I hope this idea doesn't come to fruition. Britney very rarely does duets, so why the hell would she start doing so with Cheryl Cole? Sounds like a Cheryl Cole fan fairytale to me.
I just wish we had some official info on this album. Remember around June 2009 there was an interview with someone from Britney's team talking about the album being released in Spring and how it was going to be different from what she's ever done before?
Well.........I want more news! I hope we get a summer album.
