Y'all need to know what a "classic" really is. If anything, out of the poll, Gaga and Beyonce only have 1 each. And that's stretching the "classic" term.

DSTM is NOT a classic, lol.
And yes LTWYL is an undeniable classic but I didn't include it with her count in my post. I assumed this thread was about leads.
I'll give you that Diamonds and Stay are in contention but they need to prove themselves more to me. I know in the US that Diamonds did not feel like a classic to me. Stay felt much more encompassing than Diamonds in pop culture, so Stay would be a better answer than Diamonds.
I need someone from outside the US to chime in on Diamonds... does it feel like a song people will know in the 2020-2030s and onwards? I think it slayed significantly harder globally than US.

Rihanna needs one more song in her career that's an undeniable classic - Umbrella & WFL are the first two. Diamonds & Stay were huge but they're not undeniable since it's easy to debate why they're not as well as why they are. With Umbrella & WFL, there's really not much room for debate.
Most of the pop girls have 3: Britney (BOMT, Oops & Toxic), Gaga (PF, BR & BTW), Bey (CIL, SL & Halo), Taylor (LS, YBWM & SIO)... except Katy has like 5 lol (IKAG, HNC, Firework, Roar & Dark Horse).
BTW is the one I see people giving me a "lol bye" response to but the amount of times I see that song referenced in relation to LGBT-things is really, really surprising. I personally think it's iconic in the LGBT community and will be linked to the gay rights triumphs of the 2010s when we look back, which is why I think it will be one of the songs Gaga ends up being most remembered for.

I'd say Stay, Only Girl, and maybe Don't Stop The Music or Disturbia could qualify as Rih classics and add on Edge Of Glory for Gaga.
I think Irreplaceable could also be a Bey classic for what it's worth. I still can't hear someone saying "to the left" without wanting to start singing Irreplaceable or at least getting the song stuck in my head.

Britney and Bey are certified legends and so their placement is kind of awkward.
Out of the remaining icons, Taylor has the least "classics." It doesn't seem to be holding her back, though.

Mess. I didn't see Britney in the poll. She definitely leads with the most, with the 3 you mentioned. Beyonce's is SL and Gaga's is Bad Romance.

Taylor has 0 classics. Maybe a couple of classics amongst women in their early 20s from her first couple of albums, but that's about it.
Rihanna has Umbrella but it's hard to call any of her other songs classics.
Gaga has Poker Face and Bad Romance. BTW is one of her signature songs but it's not necessarily a classic amongst the GP.
Katy has Roar, Teenage Dream, Firework, and I Kissed A Girl. Not sure if they're "classics" though.
Bey and Brit shouldn't be on this list.
