Katy made a Christian-pop-rock album, then made a pop-rock album, an Unplugged album in the middle, and 2 purely pop albums with elements from hiphop and trap. "Katy as a blueprint of Alanis" -> I mean, what are you smoking? More like Ani DiFranco, but just because she made similar songs doesn't mean she can't be part of that genre. So Gaga doing jazz is just her being a blueprint of Streisand?

Beyonce is the MOST versatile vocalist, by far, however she is a niche-artist (Rnb/soul/funk) are her stomping grounds and she doesn't venture much out of it, she's truly one of those people that stays true to her sound. Still, as a vocalist she can literally deliver authentic musical/vocal stylings in ALL genres..That isn't even a discussion.

Britney is one of the most versatile artists. She's done Pop, EDM (WB), Dance (HIAM, TTWE), Ballads (Everytime, My Baby) Gospel (Hold On Tight, Everyday) , Raggae (Soda Pop, The Hook Up) , Teen/Bubblegum pop, Urban (Blur, Get Naked), R&B (Why Should I Be Sad), Rock (Rockstar, Don't Keep Me Waiting), Trance (And Then We Kiss) and even boring songs about motherhood (Someday, I will understand).
