As you may or may not know, I don't really listen to albums in full, so I found some that I did and loved. Strangely enough, it came out to fourty. So in no particular order here are 3 of those 40. There is a common trend in these 3.
S Club - Don't Stop Movin' (2002)
A mix between Sunshine and Seeing Double was released stateside, S Club's third US album. With no show to give them free promotion, the album fell upon deaf ears. Only fans of the band would purchase this album. This album had some of S Club's best work including the four singles from it in "Don't Stop Movin'", "Have You Ever", "You" and "Alive". That's not all the awesomeness S Club delivered, there were plenty of hidden gems including "Gangsta Love", "Whole Lotta Nothin'", "Show Me Your Colours" and "The Greatest". If you're a fan of fun pop music, I would suggest you download this as soon as possible.
Rachel Stevens - Funky Dory (2003, re-released 2004)
Once S Club disbanded, Rachel went solo and she kept it funky. Her debut solo single "Sweet Dreams My LA Ex" showed that Rachel could still sing without the rest of the crew. "Funkydory" was the only other single released from the album then the re-release brought us "Some Girls" along with a cover of "More, More, More" all of which were instant classics. But the album was great as a whole. It had some other gems that it was kind of sad for the public not to hear such as "Blue Afternoon", "Heaven Has To Wait", "I Got The Money", "Breathe It, Breathe Out" and "Fools". "Fools" did appear on the Princess Diaries 2 soundtrack, though I doubt anybody heard it.
Rachel Stevens - Come And Get It (2005)
Rachel shortly released the follow-up to Funky Dory which was just as fun and great as her debut. The sad thing is it has been the only two albums she has put out. 2010 could look to be the return of Rachel Stevens. Look at how well Alesha Dixon was recieved after her time on Strictly Come Dancing reign. Anyway, the crown gem was "So Good" which was the second single. The other singles from the album were "Negotiate With Love" and "I Said Never Again (But Here We Are)". Once again, it was somewhat sad that she only put out three singles cause there were other great tracks like "Dumb Dumb", "Je M'appelle", "Crazy Boys" and "Secret Garden". I doubt any of them would have been great as singles, but they are amazing songs.
